I find it extremely difficult to apply for any help. All my life I have been in debt and always donated to charities whenever possible. However after nearly 50 years together, my wife decided we had in out of steam. She developed a rare blood cancer, Myelodysplasia Syndrome. She wants to do things on her own which means we had to split. I have to respect her decision and everything has been fine. So as you can imagine, purchasing two properties and one of us, me, having to buy everything new has taken its toll. I used all my savings renting whilst trying to find a place to live. To become financially stable. £20000 in debt due to my divorce. Improve my health and well being as I am quite depressed and feel like I am getting nowhere. My intention is to clear the debt and build a new life.
